ARE YOU IN NEED OF A FOOD RESOURCE?

PLEASE STOP BY MONDAY, AUGUST 12TH FROM 9-11AM FOR OUR NEXT FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION DAY!

WE WILL GIVE A BOX OF NONPERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO STOP BY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

Meet Cathy and Lana and learn all about The Little Food Pantry at Bentonville Church of Christ.

The Little Food Pantry was established to help members of our church and community during times of food hardships. Like all of our ministries, The Little Food Pantry is made possible by the generous hearts and donations of the wonderful congregation of our church. If you would like to donate food, you can leave your gift in the collection bins located in the North and South entrance lobbies.

Benevolence and compassion are themes woven throughout Scripture. James encourages us to visit orphans and widows in their distress (1:27). Paul instructs us to do good to all people while we have opportunity (Gal 6:10), and the writer of Hebrews reminds us to show hospitality to strangers (13:2).  As we emulate the nature of God, it is ingrained in us as Christians to show kindness, perform acts of charity and do good to others.

The Little Food Pantry was established as an outreach of our Benevolence Ministry with a focus of caring for our “Neighbors” who need food assistance. The Little Food Pantry is used daily – by those picking up an item for a single meal to those needing additional items to just get by.  With the holidays on the horizon, we have an opportunity to lay harvest aside in our pantry stock room to replenish for the upcoming months.

If you can help, your donations of food or monetary gifts can provide food for our pantry.  Food items can continue to be dropped off in our collection bins in the South Lobby, Children’s Lobby, and the Lodge Foyer.  If you care to make a financial donation, please make donations to the church with a reference for “little food pantry”.

We’re here for you.

If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, please visit our Little Food Pantry located outside of the Activity Center. One in five children in NWA currently struggle with hunger, so please take what you need and leave what you can so we can continue to be an impactful resource.
