Recovery for Life

The RFL Ministry is an outreach ministry whose primary mission is to provide spiritual support for people in recovery from anything. It is overseen by John Dyas.

Recovery for Life meetings take place on Sunday mornings at 8:45 am and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm at the Bentonville Church of Christ Activity Center located at 708 N. Walton Blvd., Bentonville, AR 72712.

  • We support Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Drug Court, Decision Point, and other 12-Step programs. They are essential, and we do not seek to replace them.

  • We seek to enrich the recovery experience through a spiritual experience founded on a personal relationship with Jesus. We believe that there is no full life recovery outside of Jesus

  • The RFL Ministry shares spiritual studies from the Life Recovery Bible with the application of the 12 Steps of AA. We invite you to give it a try.

  • You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Every September, the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA) sponsors Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover. We choose to honor what the church has done for the last 10 years in Recovery for Life by inviting others to join us for the class during the four Sundays in September. We want to share what our ministry does, and in the process, give others an opportunity to experience God working in the lives of people who may not know Him. Many are eager to know their "higher power", but just don't recognize that it's God yet. If you want to join us or know more, contact John Dyas at jdyas@bentonvillechurch.com.
