Plant a Tree, Grow a Family

Picture1.jpg

Plant a Tree. It’s a little bit amazing in the Bible how often trees were prominent in marking significant intersections between life and geography. Check out Tamarisk, Oaks, and Mamre in Genesis. This campaign, thanks to the wonderful generosity of some of our members, provided an opportunity to plant a maple tree provided, as a place of remembrance for each family who chose to participate…to mark a beginning place for some aspect of covenant between God and “your” family. Thus, “Plant A Tree, Grow A Family.” 2020 has been a challenging year for most due to Covid19 restrictions, suspension of assembling with friends and brothers and sisters in Christ, and myriad other life reasons. “Plant A Tree…” has been a declaration of our loyalty to one another and our God, as well as another “beginning” of sorts, to be reminded of the importance of the hope and future we have in Jesus. Thanks, Greg
